The service

KARD lets you create public digital business cards (for example, kard.pt/your-name), share them by QR Code or NFC, and receive contacts from the people who visit them. The service is operated by Criativatek (Pedro Alves).

During the beta, the service is free, with a limit of 3 cards per account. There will continue to be a free plan after the beta; additional features may become paid.

Your account

• You need a valid, verified email to publish cards.
• You are responsible for what you publish and for keeping your password secure.
• The card address (alias) is assigned in order of registration; reserved aliases, or ones that impersonate another person or brand, may be reclaimed.

What can't be published

No exceptions: illegal content, phishing or pages that imitate payment services or institutions, scams, malware, content that infringes third-party rights (trademarks, image, copyright), spam, or profiles that impersonate someone they aren't. Every profile has a report link in the footer; reports are reviewed and taken seriously.

Suspension

We may suspend or remove cards (or accounts) that violate these terms — in cases of phishing or fraud, without prior notice. Whenever possible and reasonable, we warn you first.

Contacts and bookings received

The contacts and bookings that visitors leave on a card belong to that card's owner, who is responsible for handling them under the GDPR — including responding to removal requests. KARD stores that data on the owner's behalf, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Account support

To resolve a problem you report, our administration may temporarily sign in to your account; each sign-in is logged and you see a warning on screen while it lasts. We never use this access for anything other than helping you.

Availability and warranties

The beta is provided "as is", with no guarantee of continuous availability. We run regular backups and give reasonable advance notice if the service changes significantly or ends — in that case, with time for you to export your data.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, we update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes are notified by email. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.
